To celebrate the launch of our new, artisan dog treat range, we’re delighted to give you a behind the scenes view into how our edible works of art are made, packaged, and delivered with love to you.
How Ruffingtons Dog Treats Are Made
Ruffingtons’ chefs are currently busy baking your pooches’ new favourite treats as we speak.
Our mini cupcakes rise in the oven and are then topped with yoghurt, blended until it is silky smooth, before being finished with a mini milky bone.
We follow the same process for our yoghurt and carob cupcakes – each sprinkled with a helping of decadent cranberry or carrot.
Our cupcakes are then piped into a case and set in our chiller, perfectly proportioned and ready to be placed in our packaging which is an unboxing experience in itself. As much for the owners, as it is for their pets.
Every single piece produced in the Ruffingtons kitchen is hand-finished, whether that’s dipping our eclairs into mouthwatering carob icing, piping our terrier truffles, or scribing and swirling on our marbled dog snaps.

How Do We Package Our Treats?
Everything about Ruffingtons is an experience, from ordering and receiving as an owner – to devouring our delectable treats as a pet. We’ve hand-curated the unboxing experience to ensure our products arrive in beautiful packaging.
When you order direct through our website, or receive Ruffingtons treats as a gift, you can expect a hand-packed box with exquisitely presented treats in our signature black and gold packaging, protected during shipping with eco-friendly wrapping.
If you happen across Ruffingtons in your local café or restaurant, you’ll recognise our brand right away. Served in our signature patisserie style display, you can choose your pet’s favourite Ruffingtons treats for them to enjoy on the premises or take away from them. Pre-packaged options will also be available at selected stockists.
